Full Court Heart & Mind – NBA All-Star Weekend

Overview:

Full Court Heart & Mind is an action-packed youth basketball experience for kids ages 8–12 that pairs high-energy competition with life-saving education. Designed to address undetected heart conditions and the youth mental health crisis, the event blends basketball clinics, 3-on-3 games, and interactive health zones with on-site cardiac screenings, mental wellness check-ins, and resilience tools. Parents will join expert-led workshops on recognizing warning signs for heart and emotional health.

Event Highlights:

• Skills Clinic (ages 8–12): Warm-ups, drills (dribbling, passing, shooting, defense), pulse checks at water breaks

• 3-on-3 Tournament: Fast-paced open run with survivor shout-outs & health facts

• Health Zone: Cardiac screenings, sports psychologists, breathing exercises, parent guides

• VIP Panel: Pro players, sports medicine experts, and health advocates on wellness

• Financial Literacy Sessions for youth and families

• Silent Auction & Networking Lounge to raise funds for health equity causes
